We finished out the chapter today with Lesson 10.4 where we investigated the slopes of parallel and perpendicular lines.

Instead of working through the textbook pages, we did a Desmos Activity that covered the same concepts. If you didn't finish it in class, please do so at home tonight. Head to student.desmos.com and type in the corresponding class code.

We wrapped up Lesson 10.3 today using all the new concepts we've learned to find missing angle measures.

We'll finish Chapter 10 tomorrow with Lesson 10.4 and an awesome Desmos Activity. Then we'll take our Chapter 10 test on Thursday.

If you're going to be absent this week, I encourage you to do your work ahead of time so you're ready for the test!

Today we worked on pages 549-554 in Lesson 10.3, investigating the relationships formed by all the pairs of angles we learned about yesterday.

Some of the key pairs of angles are congruent, some are supplementary, and some have no relation at all, depending on whether or not the two lines are parallel.

We began our look at pairs of angles today with this Parallel Lines Cut by a Transversal activity. Here's a copy of a pdf version for those that don't have PowerPoint at home.
