You've all worked very, very hard this semester - and the Final Exam results prove it. Great job, everyone!

Enjoy a much-deserved three week break. Spend some time with your family, eat great food, sleep in a bit, hang out with your friends, and recharge those batteries. I'll see you all in a few weeks!

You made it! Chapter 6 is complete, and we've now learned everything we're going to be learning first semester.

The only thing left is our Final Exam, which we'll begin on Tuesday. A study guide for the final has been uploaded to the Documents Locker.

Thursday 12/10

Today we finished our investigation of the Tricky Trailer math challenge. Great thinking all around, everyone!

Parents: Watch the video linked above then ask your student to explain to you how they went about figuring out if the pole could fit. Extra dessert tonight for those that can back it up with formulas and calculations!

We worked on a 3-act math lesson in class today and will finish it tomorrow.

Tuesday 12/8

Today we examined diagonals in two dimensional shapes with Lesson 6.5. We learned that you can use the Pythagorean Theorem to find unknown diagonal lengths, as long as you can find a (sometimes hidden) right triangle in the larger shape to help you.

Monday 12/7

We took Common Assessment #3 today and worked in MATHia afterwards. Those that were absent today or did not finish need to come in during lunch to finish everything up.
