Monday 5/16

Today was our first day of California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) testing. We'll continue our state testing for the remainder of the week.

There will be no homework this week while we conduct state testing. Woo-hoo!!

Be sure to get a good night's sleep each night and eat a filling and nutritious breakfast each morning. We want you ready to show off and demonstrate everything you've learned this year!

We discussed operations with scientific notation today in Lesson 13.5.

You should now be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers written in scientific notation, just as you can numbers written as a integer, decimal, or fraction. It's all connected.
